I adapted this recipe from a show that I saw on the Cooking Channel called Chuck’s Day Off. His recipe calls for plums. I did not have plums, so I used peaches instead. The recipe is super easy and when the finished product tastes like peach cobbler without the crust. Super awesome.
So without further ado….
Roasted Cinnamon Peaches
6-8 peaches (the more the merrier)
3-4 tablespoons brown sugar (you can add more if you really like brown sugar)
2-3 tablespoons cinnamon
pinch of salt (kosher or sea salt not table salt)
Now the fun part.
Oven on 350 degrees.
Cut the peaches in half, trash the pits.
Peaches go in baking dish skin side down. Sprinkle peaches with salt, brown sugar and cinnamon.
Cook for 30 minutes.
My wife and I enjoyed this recipe. I will be making it again.
