2 cups cold strawberries
1 cup low-fat buttermilk
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon sugar
Everyone gets in the pool. All ingredients mixed in the blender until the strawberries are pureed. It’s that simple. Serve in bowls or chill in the fridge until ready to be served.
I like the soup a little thicker so I add a Kroger Carbmaster strawberry and pomegranate yogurt to the blender and mix with all the other ingredients. The soup can also be a drink. Pour into a glass and you have yourself a nice little strawberry smoothie. Whether you use this to make a soup or a drink, top with whipped cream and garnish with a slice of strawberry or a few blueberries.
