My Best Friend

My best friend is my wife. She is everything that I wanted in a wife. I remember the day I first saw her and how from that day forward, she changed my world. The happiest moment of our relationship for me was our wedding day. It was such a great experience that I would marry her all over again.

She is my biggest encourager and supporter. My wife has supported me through school and ministry and is praying with me for our future. She has been right beside me the whole time that we have been discipling and leading FaithPoint.

She is a great mother. Watching her with our boys just makes me smile. I like to watch her play or read his books to them. My favorite thing is watching her sing with them in the kitchen or the living room. Her calm, soothing song just seems to calm them down and they like to dance with their mommy.

When it is nice outside, the boys like to join her in the hammock or on the porch swing. They really enjoy spending time with her. It is a beautiful thing.

She is amazing. I am not sure how she juggles everything that she does. I am definitely not a multi-tasker.

She is beautiful, loving, caring, hospitable, kind and the list goes on. Her greatest feature is her heart for God.

Since we have been married, I have watched my wife mature in her sanctification. I have watched her become more intimate in her relationship with God and slowly become more like Christ. She is committed to spending daily time with God and developing that relationship. She is my ministry partner. She is a pastor’s wife.

The fact that she is a pastor’s wife just seems to fit her. She loves people and loves to serve them. She likes to teach when she can and she has a heart to help younger women chase hard after Christ and become the godly women that God designed them to be.

My wife prays over our boys. We pray over them together but I like to listen to her pray for them. We both share the desire to be godly parents and raise our boys in a home founded on biblical principles. The most important thing that we believe we can do for our boys is to be consistent in pointing them to Jesus.

I love my wife!

I don’t know what God has in store for her but I look forward to seeing her step fully into her calling that God has placed on her life.
