My family and I really missed being with you this past Sunday. By God’s grace, we will finish the last sermon in our Living on Purpose series this week. I enjoyed seeing those of you that came to our Wednesday night gathering.
FaithPoint men, We will meet for our time of book discussion this Sunday at 9:00 am. I look forward to seeing you at McDonald’s.
If you have not heard by now, I went to the doctor last week and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic that was given to me. I have been fighting it for a week. The pain and the itching has been intense at times making sleeping impossible and other things as well. The past week for the most part was miserable. However, with the new meds, I believe that I can manage my situation a little better.
I plan on being careful this weekend and mainly spending time with the family, preparing for Sunday, and reading books. I am scheduled to attend the REACH conference this coming Monday and Tuesday (based on whether or not the doctor says, I can go after my follow up appointment) I am excited for this conference. My friend who I have not seen in about 20 years is leading worship for the conference. I am also excited because I believe that I will learn some things that will help FaithPoint reach more people as we continue to minister to those in Middle Georgia. There are over 7 million people in Georgia that do not profess faith in Jesus nor do they claim membership with a church family. I want to make the biggest dent that we can in this 7 million. I would also love for God to use us so that 7 million does not become 8 million.
